lucky penny bread is a cottage bakery located in the Terra linda neighborhood of San rafael, california that specializes in naturally leavened breads and baked goods. award winning pastry chef Sarah Bonar (formerly of the beloved Frances and octavia restaurants in San Francisco) moved to Terra Linda with her husband shortly before the birth of their daughter, Penelope, in early 2018.
Lucky Penny Bread came to be to foster a connection with their community over a shared love of bread and pastries while still being present in day to day family life.
